About Us

Everyone is Welcome to Be Heard

A message from our founder

“My name is Gabi and I am a Systemic Family Psychotherapist with an extensive background in working with children, young people and their families in a variety of home and social settings.

I have a solution focused approach which supports  my clients to identify realistic goals for therapy so that we can work towards these  together.

My work for CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) and care settings has provided me with an individual insight into the challenges that we face when we endeavour to bring about systemic and sustainable change within complex and evolving systems.

I am very passionate about working hard to enable families to stay together safely and I take pride in going the extra mile for my clients either within therapy, in delivering training or in providing consultations and project work”

    How I work

I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space in which clients can explore their issues. We will look at what has brought you to therapy, strategies that have already been attempted, things that could be better, what support you can receive from your existing systems and relationships and what should be a priority as we move forwards.

My approach is based on a systemic framework and focuses on relational contexts. This is also the case when individuals come to therapy on their own.

When working with you I will also use concepts and strategies from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Mindfulness.

    What is the systemic approach?
